Travel CT Tech - $2,970 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - CT Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 14:30) Experience: Two years of clinical CT imaging experience License: State Licensed Radiographer Certifications: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) and (CT), BLS issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology - Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Description: Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing an assortment of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors. Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when needed. Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Travelers may be required to float and work in multiple units and locations based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation and associated call may be required. Additional shifts may be assigned based on operational needs. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety. Implement proper handling and administration of contrast media as necessary. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in CT imaging.
