Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $1,946 per week in Lewisville, TX

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Texas license required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is required. Description: Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 18 beds and a staff of over 50. The unit provides acute, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation services. Staff typically includes 3-4 Physical Therapists, 3-4 Occupational Therapists, and 1 Speech Language Pathologist during day shifts. The expectation is for 6 hours of patient care during an 8-hour shift. Equipment used includes wheelchairs, supplemental oxygen, conditioning equipment, and more. The Electronic Medical Record system is MediTech. Candidates must possess strong evaluation and treatment skills and be comfortable with interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment, participation in team conferences, family training, and recommendations for durable medical equipment. The ideal candidate is friendly, knowledgeable, creative, and accountable. Hunter Green scrubs are required for the position.
