Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ER Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 1:4 - Experience with Epic documentation preferred Description: Provide care to a diverse patient age group, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Utilize knowledge in telemetry and dysrhythmia management. Employ skills in managing IV insulin and heparin protocols. Demonstrate proficiency in renal failure management and administering cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration. Administer blood products and manage tracheostomy care. Participate in rapid response team utilization. Conduct wound care and utilize wound vacs as necessary. Implement non-invasive airway management techniques, including CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen therapy. Maintain comprehensive documentation in the electronic medical record system. Experience in various patient care scenarios, including high-acuity cases. Assist in the care and management of ventilated patients and various IV access devices. Evaluate and interpret laboratory results, including arterial blood gases. Contribute to a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment. Adhere to established patient care protocols and safety guidelines.
