Key Job Details – Iowa Healthcare Jobs Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 (Central Iowa nursing jobs) Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026) Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 On Call: Every 3rd night & every 3rd weekend (7pm Friday – 7am Monday) Floating: Required across all Des Moines campuses to similar units Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,680 - $2,870 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience Structural heart procedure experience required Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred Travel nursing experience highly encouraged ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) Ability to scrub preferred; strong circulators considered Willingness to float to similar units across Des Moines campuses Precepting experience a plus Cath Lab RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab using the nursing process Assist with structural heart and electrophysiology procedures Scrub and/or circulate during cardiac procedures Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases Float to similar units across Des Moines healthcare campuses Precept and mentor new nursing staff Document patient care in EPIC EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes Ready to take your Cath Lab nursing career to the next level in Des Moines, Iowa?
