Job Description Job Description About the Role We are seeking a skilled Trim Carpenter to join our team, specializing in detailed woodworking and finishing carpentry. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated , require limited direction , and consistently produce high-quality work . We value initiative and seek a carpenter who takes ownership of projects and delivers excellence in craftsmanship. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and shape wood to create custom molding, millwork, and trim. Install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and window frames. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of designs. Construct cabinets, built-in shelves, and decorative woodwork as required. Apply stains, finishes, and varnishes to enhance wood aesthetics. Ensure precise fitting and seamless installation on various surfaces. Maintain tools and workspace for efficiency and safety. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship. Qualifications Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter or in Finish Carpentry . Skilled in using saws, planers, sanders, and other carpentry tools. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Physical stamina to handle tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing. High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
