About The Position Job Title: Progressive Care Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown/PCU Duration: Permanent Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: No experience necessary License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or valid compact multistate license, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment. Must-Have: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. NIH Stroke Scale training required at hire or within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of Telemetry Cardiac Rhythm Course. Successful completion of annual mandatory education requirements. Description: Responsible for the delivery of quality care to patients and families according to the individualized needs of the patient.
