Job Title: Special Procedures Technician Profession: Radiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: Required Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. - 2 years of relevant experience. Description: Scrubs EP ablation procedures, device implants, and watchman procedures in a busy EP Lab. PFA experience is helpful. Cath lab experience is a plus. Must be capable of manipulating X-ray equipment. Must select and manipulate exposure factors on X-ray systems. Evaluating and processing digital images is required. Lifting, moving, and transporting patients is necessary. Continual standing and walking is expected. Recognizing emergency situations is essential. Adapting to stressful situations is important. Effective communication skills are required.
