Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,710 per week in Apple Valley, CA

Must be proficient and independent in outpatient services. Acute care experience is preferred. Must be independent with assessments. Local radius of 50 miles is applicable for local candidates. Description: This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to pediatric patients. Therapists will mainly address developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries. Productivity standards are 7-8 patients per hour per day. The therapist will float into the acute hospital if outpatient census is low. Experience with adaptive equipment, assistive devices, milestone assessment, and discharge planning is important. Candidates are expected to familiarize themselves with early intervention programs and home exercise programs. Collaboration with family education and developing plans of care is essential for patient success. Documentation will be done using the Epic charting system. Adherence to scheduled shifts is required, with flexibility during holidays as needed. References that cover at least one year within the last three years are necessary for compliance prior to starting. All travelers may be expected to float between facilities as required.
