Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,362 per week in Fort Madison, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance. - Pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on the unit. Description: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to the following patient populations: geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Floating is required for any non-critical care inpatient units, including the emergency department if there are boarded patients. Electronic medical record system is utilized. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test out will be given during the first week of the assignment. This must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. The set work schedule is Friday through Sunday.
