Pay Information $1,780 per week About The Position Job Title: RN PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Ability to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Provides care to the adult population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5. Supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator.
