TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Pay Information $2,400 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: - CVICU experience required. - Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas preferred. - Must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years. License: - Must possess a nursing license or compact license from the state of permanent residence. Certifications: - BLS and ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: - Basic Arrhythmia experience required. - Must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. Description: Join the Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplant team to provide high-quality care to patients in the unit. Ensure care is delivered with a mixture of technological expertise and a commitment to meeting patient and family needs. Be an integral part of a team that provides care for patients requiring specialized treatment for cardiac and thoracic surgeries, heart and/or lung transplants, and various medical devices. Travelers must reside 50 miles from the assigned work site location. Travelers are the first to float as staffing needs require. Shifts may be scheduled in multiple units and may be reassigned based on department needs throughout the assignment. This facility specializes in caring for cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, and cardiac medical patients. Patients may present with conditions such as CABG, heart failure, arrhythmia management, and other critical situations. Staff assignments may change throughout a shift as patients are transferred or admitted from various sources. The team is supported by multiple nursing assistants and a unit clerk for operational efficiency. The unit is designed to provide ICU-level care with the capability to manage a wide range of patient acuity.
