Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a VoIP Engineer to join a well-established team supporting a mature voice infrastructure. The VoIP Engineer role is ideal for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in VoIP and SIP technologies, who will focus on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting existing systems rather than building from scratch. Responsibilities of the VoIP Engineer include: * Serve as the SME for all VoIP and SIP-related technologies within the organization * Support and maintain the existing VoIP infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP signaling, call routing, and voice quality Qualifications for the VoIP Engineer include: * Must be eligible to hold a Secret clearance * 5 years of experience in network operations or telecom engineering * Deep understanding of SIP, VoIP, and telephony protocols Compensation for the VoIP Engineer includes: * $90,000 - $110,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 11/12/2025.
