Tax Intern - CPA Firm Local to Greenville, SC Only

We are looking for an exceptional Intern to join our Tax Accounting team part time for the 2026 Spring Semester! At the Hultquist firm, you are more than just a number. The Tax intern will utilize their hands-on accounting knowledge to assist in processing taxes for several of our clients and their businesses. This position requires accounting knowledge combined with strong communication skills, analytical & problem-solving skills, a stellar work ethic, organization skills, and a fanatical approach to details. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals or businesses according to federal, state, or local laws. Preparing tax forms, schedules, and worksheets for accounting purposes. Tracking down and researching information about clients' investments or business operations Performing research and analysis on tax issues. Helping prepare tax planning strategies for clients. Providing general customer service and administrative support to staff members within an organization. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Must be pursuing a degree in Accounting Must have completed at least one tax course Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Dedicated to superior client service.
