Date Posted: 11/03/2025 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 490902 Industry: Retail Job Title: Development Engineer Job Location: Brooklyn Park, MN, USA, 55445 Work Model: Onsite Shift: Standard hours Employment Type: Temporary FT/PT: Full-Time Estimated Duration (In months): 6 Min Hourly Rate ($): 60.00 Max Hourly Rate ($): 82.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Agile, Automation, Debugging, Java, Kotlin, MongoDB, NoSQL, React, Testing Experience Desired: DB knowledge, software lifecycle, testing, and debugging (1 yrs); Experience with Java (1 yrs) C2C is not available Job Description Required: • Kotlin (primary backend language) • Strong Java developers may be considered if they have Kotlin exposure or are actively transitioning • React (frontend) • MongoDB / NoSQL • Experience working in Agile, full SDLC environments • Ability to independently deliver features • Looking for a strong Senior Engineer with at least 6 years of solid experience. • 5-15 years in an engineering role and in agile development. • Experience with test-driven development and software test automation. • Deep experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, etc.) Preferred Skills: • DB knowledge, software lifecycle, testing, and debugging • Java Overview: • Develop and test code to deliver functionality that meets the overall business strategy and objectives. • Build the work needed to implement features from the product backlog. • Size user stories. • Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and execute all other testing-related tasks. • Test deliverables against a user story’s acceptance tests. • Execute necessary project documentation. • Work closely with other teams to ensure that features meet business needs. • Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation. • Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners.
