Position: RN Labor & Delivery- Sweetwater, TX Location : Sweetw ater, TX 79556 Project Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Days Shift 12 hrs Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing comprehensive care to patients throughout all phases of the birthing process, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns during all stages of labor and delivery. Monitor maternal and fetal conditions, interpret fetal heart monitoring strips, and respond appropriately to any complications. Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during labor, delivery, and recovery. Administer medications and perform necessary clinical procedures per provider orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and positive outcomes for patients and families. Serve as an OB circulator during cesarean sections and other procedures (OB circulatory experience preferred). Educate patients and families regarding postpartum and newborn care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (approximately 20–30 deliveries per month preferred). Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice. Certifications (Required): BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) STABLE Certification Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
