Position Details: Medical Technologist- Panama City , FL Location : Panama City , FL 32405 Shift Timing : 7:00Am-7:30Pm (Rotating Weekends) Project Duration : Full Time/Permanent Job Duties: · Day-to-day duties include complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results. · You will also be responsible for specimen receiving and putting away supplies when received in the department. · You will troubleshoot/resolve instrument problems and document corrective action in appropriate log and when necessary, perform instrumentation repairs. · Assure that quality control is properly performed and logged and follow proper department procedure for corrective action. · Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to train new employees and/or students. · You will actively participate in phlebotomy and the accession responsibilities. Job Requirements: • MT experience preferred. Must have FL STATE license in hand OR IF applied already. - they are willing to train based on any years of experience had. • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology of Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field. • Medical Technologists (MT)/ Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required to start. • ASCP or equivalent is preferred. • US Authorization to work is a requirement.
