Job Description
Senior Project Manager – Energy Transition Company Overview: Baker Hughes is a global energy technology leader with a portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Industrial Energy Technology (IET) team operates in over 120 countries, advancing the energy value‑chain and industrial sector. As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of Upgrades Plant Solutions for Gas and Energy Transition applications, providing P&L accountability and leading cross‑functional execution. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate Upgrades/retrofit jobs on rotating equipment for Oil & Gas and Energy Transition projects, ensuring contractual obligations and Quality, Safety and Environmental standards are met. Manage financial performance of assigned projects, including planning, reporting and monitoring costs, revenues, contribution margin and cash collection. Define scope of work, coordinate execution, and maintain project schedules, quality, and timely delivery to meet Customer satisfaction. Drive internal and external execution, driving contractual obligations and business targets, and leading project review meetings and deliverables. Identify risks and opportunities during the project lifecycle, working with multiple functions to mitigate them and keep Customers updated on design changes and commercial implications. Operate according to performance indicators such as project launch timeliness, quality of project reports, project productivity, and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with extensive Oil & Gas industry experience. Prior experience managing projects on rotating equipment, including site execution, installation and commissioning. Proven project management experience, with a track record of successfully managing various contracts related to Retrofit Projects and achieving required contractual KPIs. Experience working on EPC projects and managing cross‑functional project teams. IPMA or PMP certification is required. Fluent in spoken and written English. Willingness to travel to engage and meet with Customers.
