Job Description
Site Operations Specialist Company: RINA Location: Rome, Italy Division: Energy Project Solutions Mission The Site Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of activities at the site. The individual should be dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Effective communication and collaboration with managers, along with proactive problem‑solving, are essential for success in this role. Key Accountabilities Ensure efficient execution of all assigned activities, meeting project goals. Maintain compliance with OHSES, RINA QMS, and OHSES policies, procedures, and guidelines. Detect, record, and implement corrective actions for non‑conformities. Oversee all aspects of a construction project, especially managing and monitoring daily operations. Assist the direct Manager/Site Manager in identifying scope of work changes in a timely manner. Advise on additional safety measures necessary to improve work methods. Support the organization’s environmental and safety program, conforming to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SA8000 requirements. Perform tasks in compliance with the RINA QOHSES System. Communicate problems with field work to Site Operations Managers and Customer Site Manager. Assist Customer Site Manager in resolving issues promptly. Report any accidents and near‑misses to the Site Manager and the RINA OHSE team through the proper channels. Communicate job schedules with the direct Site Operations Manager. Report performance issues and work collaboratively to address challenges. Assist the Site Operations Manager in identifying changes to the scope of work promptly and ensure timely communication and documentation. Coordinate with responsible department managers regarding equipment problems and provide input for decision‑making. Attend job walks and bid meetings as needed to assist in determining site conditions and developing the scope of work. Education High School Diploma/GED in General Studies or equivalent. Qualifications Several years of experience in construction with progressively responsible roles. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position on construction sites. Certification in safety management or relevant safety training programs. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards.
