Software Test Engineer

As part of our QA team, you'll help accelerate delivery and improve the quality of Altova products used by thousands of customers worldwide. You'll work closely with our development and support teams and be actively involved in test planning, execution, and automation. Software Test Engineer Full-Time (38,5 h/W) Your Responsibilities * Prepare and maintain test plans and test cases * Execute manual and automated test suites and review the results * Automate test cases * Document issues and report bugs in our defect tracking system * Verify and re-test issues fixed by the development team Your Profile Must-have: * Professional experience in software testing (ideally MS Windows applications) * Basic knowledge of shell scripting * Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems * Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset * Good English skills, both written and spoken Nice-to-have: * Knowledge of Node.js * Experience with WebdriverIO * Experience with Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio * Experience with Mobile Apps * Basic knowledge of C++ * Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (ideally MS SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2) and non-SQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB) * Basic knowledge of macOS What We Offer: * An office in Vienna's first district with excellent infrastructure * Easy access by public transport - we provide a Wiener Linien (core zone) transport pass * A highly professional, flexible, and casual working environment (including flexible working hours) Salary The collective agreement minimum salary is 3,175 EUR gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis). The actual salary amounts to 3,300 EUR gross per month or higher depending on your professional experience (on a 38.5-hour basis). The salary is paid 14 times per year.
