Travel X-Ray Tech - $1,971 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (09:30 - 22:00) Experience: 1 year preferred License: Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in Operating Room, Emergency Department, and fluoroscopy - Preferred experience with O-arm Description: 1 year experience or first-timers accepted. Position requires floating between units. On-call is required, with a minimum of 1 shift per month. Weekends are required, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 09:30 to 22:00. Block schedules are required. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. The facility is a short-term acute care setting with a total of 418 staffed beds. Staff can wear any color scrubs, while specific departments provide uniforms. Charting is done using the Epic system. There is no fee for parking. This unit typically performs 150-200 exams per day during the week and 100-120 on weekends. There is a high volume of surgical procedures and fluoroscopy, so experience in these areas is preferred. Candidates must have experience in patient demographics including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates will need transportation for this assignment.
