Travel X-Ray Tech - $1,971 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Must have OR and fluoro experience. O-arm experience preferred. Description: 1 year of experience or first timers are welcome. Will position float between units: No. Is on-call required? Yes, minimum of 1 shift per month. Are weekends required? Yes, Sunday and Monday from 08:00 to 20:30. Are block schedules required? No. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. Staff performs a high volume of surgical procedures and fluoro. Must have experience with the following procedures: Abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright, adult acute care, and adult outpatient. Experience with barium studies, C-Arm procedures, and portable exams is required. Knowledge of the charting system Epic is preferred. Preferred experience with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census and patient volume typically involves 150-200 exams per day Monday through Friday and 100-120 exams on weekends. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Providers may be supplied communication devices needed to perform duties. Completion of required modules will take an average of 16 hours, and time spent on modules is self-reported.
