Travel CT Tech in White Plains, NY

Shift: Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Weekends and holidays as needed Description: Performs routine and special procedure imaging using CAT scan equipment. Prepares patients for procedures and assists radiologists. Operates, maintains, and cares for imaging equipment. Processes images and CDs when necessary. Adheres to radiology standards of care and radiation protection principles. Takes responsibility for assigned areas and duties. Maintains compliance with patient care and customer service standards. Conducts quality assurance activities. Positions patients according to protocol, ensuring correct documentation and image quality. Reviews completed exams for accuracy and completeness. Assists physicians during procedures. Performs equipment quality assurance and calibrations. Communicates supply needs and addresses equipment concerns. Provides emergency and flexible coverage as needed (on-call, holidays, overtime, various shifts). Requirements: Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required ARRT registered (RT) with radiography (R) and/or CT certification NMTCB registered (CNMT) with documented CT training and experience Must obtain advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire Meets continuing education standards (24 ECE credits every 2 years) DOH IV certification preferred or completed within 6 months of hire BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required within 90 days of hire)
