These are all 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute duty-free period in between. Shifts will include: 0600-1630, 0700-1730, 0800-1830, 0900-1930, 1000-2030, and 1200-2230. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted, but previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must possess experience in inpatient or acute care. Knowledge of anticoagulants, cardiac dosing, clinical dosing, and high-risk medications is essential. Skills in pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring are required. Experience with antibiotic management, chemotherapy, and compounding is preferred. Proficiency in emergency medication systems and sterile technique is necessary. The role involves working with a diverse patient age group, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates will float within the facility based on census. Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are vital for patient care.
