Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,178 per week in Medford, OR

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, State license Must-Have: Experience with adaptive equipment assessment for both adult and pediatric patients Ability to assess and evaluate patients with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury Experience with community re-entry and functional capacity evaluation Description: The position involves providing occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The therapist will float between various units, including clinical decision units and surgical units. One regular weekend shift per week is required. The expected patient ratio is 6 patients for each 8-hour workday. The facility features a geriatric certified emergency department and programs certified by relevant accreditation bodies. Preferred experience includes patient transport between different areas of care such as emergency rooms and medical-surgical units. This position requires close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Travelers may also be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location. Candidates must have reliable transportation for this assignment. Inflexibility with scheduling and time-off requests may lead to termination of the contract. All required skills and experience should be met before submission. Strong candidates who may lack specific experience may still be screened.
