Pay Information $1,998 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Epic charting system experience required - Previous acute care experience preferred - Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam Description: The role involves providing specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Candidates should be prepared to work with patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the position includes every third weekend and holidays as needed. All hires will be required to float between different units if necessary. Candidates should possess strong skills in patient assessment and medication reconciliation. Additional responsibilities include dressing changes, setting up sterile procedure trays, and performing laboratory specimen collection. The team will include interdisciplinary support from various health care professionals, offering a collaborative approach to patient care. The expected patient ratio is 1 nurse to 6 patients.
