TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in West Des Moines, Iowa, 50266! Pay Information $2,577 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current experience in Labor & Delivery within a hospital setting, including experience in the operating room License: Iowa Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP Must-Have: Completion of at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months Description: This position offers same-day interviews. Please prepare qualified candidates to receive a call from a (405) area code. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. The unit has a bed size of 24 with a patient ratio of 1:1-2. You will care for patient types including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and triage cases. You will work with drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. The traveler will be required to float across all campuses. You will be required to work every third weekend and participate in holiday rotation if scheduled. You must have completed a skills checklist within one year of submission. A reference must be provided from a supervisory performance evaluation within the last two years of employment or contract.
