Heavy Plant Fitter Location: Snetterton, Norwich and travel around to clients construction sites Salary: £45,000 £55,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am 5:00pm 7.5 tonne supplied so drivers licence needed About the Role We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to join our team in Snetterton. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of construction plant diggers and machinery both in our state-of-the-art workshop and on-site as required. Fabrication and diagnostic experience are desirable but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required, and a Cat C1 licence is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities Repair, maintain, and diagnose a variety of heavy plant machinery and small tools Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components Operate power tools for cutting, shaping, and repairing materials Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently Skills & Experience Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability Proficiency with hand and power tools Experience in welding and fabrication (desirable) Understanding of plant diagnostics and electronic systems (advantageous) Good communication and teamwork skills Benefits Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Company vehicle provided On-site parking Access to a fully equipped, modern workshop If youre a motivated, skilled fitter looking for a varied role with excellent facilities, wed love to hear from you. ??
