HVAC Estimator

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and qualified HVAC Estimator to join our client's team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning projects. This role analyses project plans, specifications, and technical requirements to determine labour, material, and equipment needs. Key Responsibilities: Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed HVAC estimates. Calculate material quantities, labour hours, equipment costs, and subcontractor pricing. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and submit bid proposals within deadlines. Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve cost effectiveness. Collaborate with project management and engineering teams during pre-construction. Maintain cost databases, pricing sheets, and historical project records. Assist in project handoff meetings and provide clarifications as needed. Requirements: Experience in HVAC estimating or related mechanical estimating. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. NVQ or equivalent Valid CSCS Full UK Driving Licence
