Job Description

Key Responsibilities: On the investment side: Support the implementation process for portfolio rebalances and reallocations. Support the management of the daily cash flow allocation processing, pre- and post-trade compliance, trade execution processing, and cash and position reconciliation. Support the management of maintaining model portfolios on the various platforms. Support the production of daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting On the operational side: Build and maintain process and procedure documentation for all operational processes, including trading policies. Monthly pricing recon for the local and global fund solutions Support the onboarding process for service providers. Maintain investment and operational tools and databases. Take ownership of internal and external queries, ensuring timely resolution Produce, review, and distribute monthly and quarterly fund factsheets, ensuring data accuracy and timely release. Assist in preparing and maintaining client reports and ad hoc portfolio information requests Contribute to the preparation of board packs for investment committee and board meetings. Liaise with internal compliance teams and external regulators/auditors as required Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent service, maintain strong relationships with service providers, and continuously improve operational processes to reduce risk and enhance efficiency. On the compliance side: Coordinate materials for board and committee meetings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Participate in system/process enhancement projects to drive efficiency in operations and reporting. Support ad hoc projects related to regulatory change, new fund launches, or operational improvements. Support ongoing mandate compliance monitoring, ensuring portfolios remain within agreed investment guidelines. Perform daily and periodic trading compliance checks, escalating breaches or exceptions promptly. Requirements: Relevant BCom (Investments) or BSc degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with Morningstar Direct Solid understanding of the South African investment and platform landscape Proven experience in Investment Operations or Fund Administration Knowledge of industry rules and regulations Logical thinker with strong problem-solving ability Able to work under pressure, multi-task and deliver required output on time A dynamic, proactive team player with a positive attitude and a passion for the financial services industry Good English skills are required; other languages skills are desirable
