We're seeking a skilled General X-Ray Technologist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic images that support lifesaving decisions. ? What You'll Do Verify patient identity and review provider orders prior to imaging. Perform radiographic exams of bones, organs, and tissues using approved x-ray protocols. Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide compassionate support. Safely position and assist patients, including those with limited mobility. Operate radiologic equipment responsibly to ensure minimal radiation exposure. Produce high-quality diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation. Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report issues to management. Use electronic systems to verify patient details and document exams. Follow all dual-patient identifier, PACS, and image labeling procedures. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely image transmission to PACS. Observe patient status and adjust care based on age-specific needs. ? Requirements Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT Certification (current). NYS License (or eligibility prior to start). Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience. Level I trauma center experience preferred. Recent c-arm/o-arm experience within the last 8 months. BLS (American Heart Association only). Ability to lift/move patients and stand for long periods. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Compassionate, patient-centered mindset. Team player with a commitment to high-quality care. Ability to respond to on-call shifts within 30 minutes. ⭐ Behavior & Skill Expectations Active Technician License (any acceptable tech license in NY). Demonstrated dependability and teamwork.
