This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory care and thrive in a hospital environment. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support. Assess, evaluate, and document patient respiratory status and progress. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care practices. Maintain and ensure proper functioning of respiratory therapy equipment. Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards. Qualifications Current Respiratory Therapist license in Utah (or eligibility to obtain). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered. Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong clinical skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
