We specialize in long-term care planning (ALTCS/VA), special needs trusts, guardianships/conservatorships, estate planning, administration, and probate matters. We are seeking a Legal Assistant with experience in estate planning and probate to join our close-knit team. Why Work With Us? Key Responsibilities Client Intake & Reception: Legal assistants will share intake and reception duties. Attorney Support: Assist with case preparation and management. Case Management: Maintain files, calendars, deadlines, and ensure timely filings. Research: Investigate property records, analyze financial documents, and review estate plans. Document Preparation: Draft petitions, motions, proposed orders, and probate pleadings. Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact, keeping clients informed and supported. ALTCS Applications: Prepare and manage applications, analyze financials, and respond to requests. Administrative Tasks: Scheduling, billing, and maintaining case management systems. Preferred Qualifications 2 years as a legal assistant Paralegal certificate or associate degree (preferred but not required) Experience with Clio case management software Background in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, or ALTCS Required Qualifications At least 1 year in a professional office setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits Starting at $25 to $30/hour , negotiable based on experience; Health, vision, and dental insurance; Paid sick leave and vacation; Paid Holidays 401(k); Covered parking; Strong training program, Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday 8-hour shift, in-office only How to Apply Submit your resume and cover letter to Jobs@ElderLawofaz.com .
