Pay Information $2,354 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS preferred, ALS preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience and hold certifications in BLS and NRP. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit. The unit has 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, and 6 triage rooms, alongside 3 Labor and Delivery operating rooms. The typical staffing matrix for the night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 7-9 RNs. Patient ratios are generally 2:1, with 1:1 for complicated patients. The unit is equipped with FHR monitors and utilizes EMR systems. Common procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients.
