Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Job Description Local Manufacturer in Tempe is looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to come in and make an impact! If you are mechanically inclined and looking for a position to grow your career this is the one for you! Pay is dependent on experience but starts at 21/hr. This position is responsible for performing a diverse range of duties from troubleshooting/repairing to maintaining electrical/mechanical production machines and equipment/ and perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping. First shift position • Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM o Possibly some Saturday Work Qualifications • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair - overhead hoist, motors, pumps, immersion heaters, RO water system, fume scrubber, air compressors, heat exchangers, temperature controls, swamp coolers. • Complete assigned Preventative Maintenance tasks. • Electrical experience with 24-480 volts. • Ability to handle physical workload • Ability to Understand and Comply with Written and Oral Instructions • Familiarity with Safe Utilization of Industrial Equipment. • Basic math skills. (Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide, Percentage) • Maintain daily logs/records with the use of computers. • Experience with rectifiers, plumbing, welding is a plus. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: • Standing on feet all day with labor intensive work. • Must be able to lift 50lbs. • Requires good manual dexterity. • Must work in areas with forklifts in operation and around machinery with moving parts.
