TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Pay Information $2,685 per week About The Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of surgical unit experience License: Current NC or Compact license required at the time of start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidate must have experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with blood product administration and central line care/management is required. Ability to manage surgical drains and perform wound care is essential. Knowledge of isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management is needed. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly result in a cancellation. The nurse will be responsible for managing a wide range of patient diagnoses related to surgery or trauma. Patients may include those with cellulitis, appendicitis, cholecystitis, and various traumatic injuries. Special procedures include cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and wound debridement. Experience in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is preferred. The nurse may need to float to other units as required based on the needs of the facility. The working environment will require adherence to call-off policies. All team members must demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and meet behavioral expectations in interactions with patients and staff. Candidate must be able and willing to work during major holidays. References from recent supervisors are preferred at the time of application. Candidate must be comfortably adaptable to float based on the job description with no restrictions. Travel pairs are allowed but must submit for and work on different units. The facility fosters interdisciplinary support with various teams available for assistance.
