Key Responsibilities Support the Accounts Payable department with invoice entry, coding, and review of daily transactions. Approve AP batches and ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies. Locate vendors within the ERP system and correctly match invoices, purchase orders, and receipts. Review and understand general ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring expenses are recorded properly. Process and reconcile prepaid expenses, including monthly amortizations. Collaborate effectively with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain strong relationships. Download, organize, and analyze financial data from internal systems for reporting and reconciliation. Manipulate and interpret data in Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP , pivot tables , and basic formulas. Assist with month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and other accounting duties as needed. Contribute to a positive team environment by bringing a friendly, upbeat, and solutions-oriented approach to daily tasks. Qualifications 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience; construction industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of AP processes, general ledger accounts, and expense coding. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables required). Experience working with ERP/accounting systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Positive, team-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities. Why Join Us?
