Helicopter Pilot - Offshore Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Pilot to join our offshore operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating helicopters in the Gulf of Mexico and other domestic offshore regions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe transport of personnel and cargo while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Helicopter Pilot - Offshore Responsibilities Safely operate assigned aircraft in strict compliance with company policies and all relevant regulations. Prioritize safety and mission success in all activities both inside and outside the aircraft. Maintain situational awareness regarding weather, sea state, NOTAMs, and offshore facility conditions. Manage passenger and cargo movements, conduct briefings, and oversee baggage handling to ensure safety and adherence to procedures. Complete flight planning, preflight checks, fueling, and manifesting accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed electronic and paper records, including flight logs, journey logs, and aircraft maintenance logs. Report mechanical irregularities promptly and ensure aircraft readiness before, during, and after flights. Communicate effectively with operations teams and flight crews to coordinate activities. Work primarily in offshore regions, with flexibility for other domestic assignments as required. Stay current with operational procedures and safety protocols, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or Aviation Logistics Manager. Helicopter Pilot - Offshore Position Requirements Valid IFR certification and compliance with 14 CFR 135.243 requirements. Current First-Class Medical certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational abilities with capacity to handle a varied workload. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Proven commitment to safety and operational excellence. Must meet all regulatory and company-specific licensing standards. Helicopter Pilot - Offshore Preferred Position Requirements Minimum of 3 years of offshore helicopter experience, ideally in the oil and gas sector. Total flight time of at least 3,500 hours, including: 25 hours in AW119MKII aircraft. 1,000 hours of offshore flight time. 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
