Contract Engineer Surveyor / Machinery Risk Assessor (PUWER) –to cover South West England (Reading, Bath, Salisbury) £400 per day (outside IR35) mileage overnight accommodation (as required) varied & interesting long-term contract work / projects We are looking to engage with a qualified contract Engineer Surveyor / Machinery Risk Assessor (PUWER) on an ongoing contract basis to assist a variety of clients, in locations across the UK, manage the risks associated with machinery / equipment safety onsite. This will suit an individual with other clients, who is happy to add extra ongoing and long-term contract work to their portfolio. Contract Engineer Surveyor / Machinery Risk Assessor (PUWER) responsibilities include: Carry out machinery / equipment safety inspections under PUWER 1998 (L22 ACoP) Assess equipment compliance including maintenance, inspection, training, and alignment with UKCA/EC directives Identify hazards during PUWER inspections and recommend appropriate control measures Write clear, action-focused technical reports Support the quality and consistency of Machinery Safety services Provide clients with innovative, effective safety solutions Contract Engineer Surveyor / Machinery Risk Assessor (PUWER) profile: Hold a recognised Machinery Safety/PUWER inspection qualification (e.g. HSL or equivalent) Completed (or working towards) NEBOSH NGC Hold IOSH membership or similar relevant accreditation Experienced writing technical reports (e.g. PUWER, LOLER) Demonstrate a solid understanding of Machinery / Equipment Risk Assessments Confident with Microsoft Office and mobile tech for reporting You hold a full UK driving licence If the above contract Engineer Surveyor / Machinery Risk Assessor (PUWER) opportunity looks of interest, you have the relevant qualifications, skills & experience as highlighted above and you are happy to take on long-term contract work, then please send us your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch
