Responsibilities Receive payments from customers Download bank data of collections and/or deposits for manual accounting Record bank transactions of accounts receivable and manage checks in real time Clear all items related to accounts receivable in clearing accounts Identify third-party payments/transactions Contact the bank to resolve accounts receivable issues as needed Record customer remittance documentation Apply customer payments Apply collections to open invoices (post customer identification) Manual ERP accounting: Identify and process payments and remittances received from customers via bank transfer, electronic data interchange, automatic posting, and manual receipts Contact the bank/collector for more details on the remittance · Apply cash in foreign currencies (FX)· Cash application with deduction (tax withholding, customer withholdings, etc.) Assistance in resolving payment discrepancies (outside the standard process or unresolved) Customer contact for overpayments/underpayments Customer prepayment: Identify and apply Credit adjustment Cash transfer (internal) and others Collection of accounts not related to accounts receivable Reclassify customer withholdings to long-term/short-term Requirements we are looking for in you! Minimum requirements · Knowledge of accounting (understanding of the nature of accounts and knowledge of the chart of accounts) · Experience with Microsoft Office package.
