SENIOR IT Solutions Engineer – Empower the team through Innovation Location – London, hybrid – No sponsorship, UK Residents only please Salary – up to £80k 1yr FTC 2 Stage interview process Our client is a fast-paced private equity firm that wants to optimise the workflow by embracing innovation designing solutions which incorporate cutting edge tooling. They need a solutions engineer with a problem-solving attitude and a broad IT knowledge ,t his role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, scripting, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions using Microsoft technologies, and you’ll get to play with cool tech! NOTE - This is not - A Support desk role or a developer role, or a specialist infrastructure role This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, scripting, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions using Microsoft technologies. Key Responsibilities: Select tooling that will increase efficiency, design implementation and user interface. Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks Build business process automation using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions Deploy solutions securely and at scale across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises) Provide documentation and training for new tools and automations Key Competencies: BE A BIT OF AN IT ALL-ROUNDER Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident communicator, able to convey technical concepts in a clear, accessible way Experience in IT solutions engineering, and high-level network and infrastructure knowledge Some Scripting ability in PowerShell and one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and modern cloud infrastructure Understanding of DevOps tools and practices is an advantage For more information on the IT Solutions Engineer role apply online now or reach out to Ryan Kelly on r.kelly@ltharper.com
