Job Description

A leading engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join them on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of product quality, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure excellence in every aspect of the manufacturing process. What you’ll be doing: Leading quality assurance across all product groups, ensuring products meet drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conducting FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and maintaining quality control plans. Performing thorough inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies and finished products. Managing the Return to Stock (RTS) process and final product release. Identifying and resolving quality issues, documenting findings via Non-Conformance Reports. Maintaining calibration systems and ESD compliance across the site. What we’re looking for: Essential: Experience leading teams to create and maintain FMEAs and control plans. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of ESD requirements and quality processes in a manufacturing environment. Desirable: Experience inspecting soldering joints and crimping. Ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and parts lists. Knowledge of MRP/stock control systems, e.g., SYSPRO. Familiarity with process control techniques and calibration systems Why apply?
