Business Development Manager

Role: Business Development Manager (Geotechnical Testing) Salary: 40K-55K DOE Bonus Car Allowance/Company Car Location : Largely remote but UK travel required Do you have knowledge of Geotechnical Testing experience? Due to continued growth, I am excited to present an opportunity to join my client, a leading environmental company who are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager. This is a niche role and as such a knowledge of Geotechnical and/or materials testing is essential for successful candidacy for this role. Key duties: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the geotechnical sector through market research, networking, and prospecting. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored client solutions Manage and grow existing accounts across environmental and site services divisions Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals Represent the company at industry events and trade shows Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership Essential: Strong technical knowledge of the geotechnical and/or Construction Materials testing Market services – ideally within a sales or business development-based role. Strong relationship-building and account management skills Ability to translate technical expertise into commercial success Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities Full UK Driving License
