Job Description
A global organisation is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel at Associate Director level to join their international legal team to help shape regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions. What You’ll Do Advise on financial services regulation and global regulatory developments, including (but not exclusively) EU AI Act, NIS2, ESG, sanctions, and digital operational resilience (DORA). Assess the impact of regulatory changes on business operations and client-facing activities. Work closely with senior stakeholders, legal, compliance, and risk teams worldwide. Manage external counsel and contribute to internal policies, guidance, and best practices. About You Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with at least 7 years’ PQE. Strong in-house experience within a global financial or professional environment. Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, change management, and governance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, collaborative, and able to lead complex projects independently.
