Job Description

You'll need to work on-site and in-house, overseeing electrical installations, machinery commissioning, servicing, and support. Your tasks include control panel installation, wiring, and a strong focus on learning, particularly in vision inspection systems, all with a commitment to top-quality and timely project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: Demonstrate proficiency as an apprentice who has undergone training or is a certified electrical technician. Possess the ability to interpret engineering schematics, with a strong emphasis on electrical diagrams and an advantageous understanding of mechanical drawings. Exhibit substantial experience in handling automated machinery. Maintain a high-level grasp of industrial control systems and expertise in PLC programming. Demonstrate competence in working with pneumatic systems and managing valves. Possess hands-on experience with industrial networks. Uphold a strong work ethic while representing the company positively. Collaborate effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude. Adhere to written instructions and method statements. Be familiar with working in clean and sanitary environments while adhering to health and safety requirements. Demonstrate competence in working on medium-sized assemblies and sub-assemblies. Display keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Be open to learning and committed to continuous improvement. Expectations & Requirements: Demonstrates self-initiative and the ability to work independently, yet recognizes when to seek assistance. Maintains a well-organized and tidy work environment. Exhibits excellent communication skills and interacts with customers and key stakeholders in a courteous and conscientious manner, fostering trust. Displays punctuality and trustworthiness in all responsibilities. Proficient in English, and knowledge of a second language is a valuable assets. Embraces a positive 'can do' mindset, as we are a small and growing team that values teamwork over diva behavior. Open to regular travel and working away from home, primarily within the UK but also internationally, accounting for approximately 70% of the role. Possesses a valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points. Maintains a presentable and articulate demeanor.
