Information Technology Support Engineer

Role: Junior IT Support Engineer Location: Suffolk Work Pattern: On-site Salary: £25,000-£30,000 About the Role We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our team in an office-based capacity. This role is focused on providing day-to-day IT support to staff. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to handle a wide range of software and hardware challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line IT support to internal teams. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: Windows 11 systems. Basic networking (routers, connectivity, cabling). Printers and office hardware. General software and hardware incidents. Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment. Document solutions, processes, and recurring issues. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements Essential: Previous experience in a 1st Line/ Junior IT Support role. Basic understanding of routers, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting. Good working knowledge of Windows 11. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Confidence in addressing a wide range of IT issues across hardware and software. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a love for technology.
