Skills and Responsibilities: •Nice to Have Experience with digital insurance platforms and customer portals. •Exposure to Agile methodology and DevOps practices. •Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (OSFI, provincial insurance regulations). •Requirements Gathering Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand product offerings in Affinity and Individual Insurance. •Document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. •Conduct gap analysis between current systems and business needs. •Solution Design Documentation Translate business requirements into system specifications and process flows. •Work closely with architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility. •Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and system interface specifications. •Domain Expertise Apply knowledge of Affinity insurance (group programs, partnerships) and Individual insurance (life, health, disability). •Understand underwriting, policy administration, billing, and claims processes. •Stakeholder Management Facilitate workshops and JAD sessions with business and IT teams. •Act as a point of contact for clarifications during development and testing phases. •Testing Quality Assurance Support QA teams in preparing test cases and validating solutions. •Participate in UAT and ensure business sign-off. •Compliance Risk Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards. •Identify and mitigate risks related to system changes.
