Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Shepshed Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday - Friday Primary Industry: Construction - Social housing refurb Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Per annum Benefits: Car allowance / fuel allowance & discretionary bonus scheme Flexible working from home 2 days per week Qualifications: Driving Licence A growing construction business is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands team. This contractor specialises in refurbishment projects across social housing and residential properties. The company offers fast-track progression opportunities due to their exciting growth plans. Job Duties: Prepare and submit estimates and budgets for construction projects Conduct cost analysis and provide advice on cost-saving measures Assess and manage subcontractor payments and variations Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual agreements Prepare and analyse financial reports related to construction projects Required Qualifications: Driving Licence Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Packages and IT tools Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of construction contracts and legal requirements Working Conditions: Office-based work with regular site visits required Full-time position with flexibility in working hours Travel to project sites within the Midlands region
