SAP Release Manager

Job Title: Senior SAP Release Manager Experience Level: Senior (10 years) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end release management process across multiple SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP environments, a strong understanding of change and transport management, and a proven track record in coordinating complex releases in large-scale enterprise settings. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall SAP release planning, coordination, and execution across projects and environments. Manage transport and deployment processes for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, BTP, and related systems. Ensure quality, stability, and integrity of SAP environments through structured release governance. Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and basis teams to align release schedules and priorities. Own and optimize the SAP Change and Release Management framework (ChaRM/SolMan/Focused Build). Coordinate regression testing, system refreshes, and cutover activities. Monitor and report on release progress, issues, and post-release validation. Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement within release cycles. Ensure compliance with ITIL, audit, and security standards. Required Skills & Experience 10 years of experience in SAP landscape management, with at least 5 years focused on release/change management . Proven experience managing releases in SAP S/4HANA or complex multi-system SAP environments. Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) or equivalent release management tools. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation frameworks for SAP environments (e.g., Jenkins, Rev-Trac, ActiveControl). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP Cloud ALM or Focused Build . ITIL v3/v4 certification. Prior experience in global or multi-country SAP deployments. Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models.
