Base pay range Velo Solutions is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Rome We are seeking an enthusiastic Data engineer who is excited to jump into the realm of Data Management and Data Quality. Velo Solutions is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Rome We are seeking an enthusiastic Data engineer who is excited to jump into the realm of Data Management and Data Quality. Tasks Oversee the data pipelines and ensure alignment with data governance, quality and compliance standards, in line with the approved data architecture Design, update & maintain data lineage & dictionary along with data analyst, in relevant systems – in collaboration with IT asset owners and the IT Unit Develop and test DQ controls and remediation actions in testing environment and propose tested solutions for implementation to the responsible asset owners Perform data manipulation and transformation in testing environment to support the achievement of data governance objectives and requirements Establish data governance standards and best practices for data quality and security, including the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for data models, pipelines, and architecture Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering Area. Consulting and banking experience is preferred University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Economics or related discipline.
