Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Number of Beds – 13 ORs Number of Staff – 25 RNs / 29 CSTs Patient Ratios – average 50 hours of surgical time (patient in room) Monday – Friday. Weekends vary with Saturday heavier than Sunday. EMR - Meditech Typical Procedures: Burn, Dental, ENT, Gastroenterology, General, Gynecology, Neuro, Open Heart, Opthamology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Psychiatry, Robotics, Trauma, and Urology Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 3 years of OR RN experience in an acute hospital setting - Trauma Experience - Shift and Call Flexibility - ID RN License - BLS and ACLS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - CNOR Experience - Burn/Robotic/Neuro Experience - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
